About Us

At de mano collective, every piece begins with a story, rooted in heritage, nature, and craftsmanship.

We create handcrafted homeware from reclaimed and responsibly sourced wood, working exclusively with trees that have been felled for reasons of disease, age, or safety. Nothing is taken before its time. Each placemat is a continuation of nature’s cycle, a way of giving new life to what the earth has already offered.

Our work currently partners with The Grange Estate and Burrough Court Estate, two storied British landscapes rich in character and history. Each estate’s wood carries a unique narrative, shaped by generations of land stewardship, weather, and time. Through careful craftsmanship, we honour that origin, allowing the grain, knots, and imperfections to speak of where it came from.

De mano collective exists to preserve these stories, transforming heritage wood into timeless pieces for the modern home. Every creation is made by hand, guided by nature, and infused with a sense of place that connects you to the land it came from.
